About Dr. Charl Weitz

Dr. Charl Weitz, M.B.Ch.B UP, Dip Ophth (SA), FC Ophth (SA) .

Dr Weitz has been involved in the field of Ophthalmology since 2002. He qualified as a general practitioner and eye specialist at the University of Pretoria. Dr Weitz is currently in private practice at the Pretoria Eye Institute and also does weekly sessions in Benoni. Dr Weitz published articles locally and abroad and is an active lecturer.

Dr Weitz is married to Greta and has 2 sons. He is a keen cycad collector and his hobbies include fishing, hunting and birdwatching.
